Points of Pride

These 22 Points of Pride show that the College of Fine Arts and Communication has earned a high degree of success. For example, Texas State has the 30th highest enrollment of Hispanic students in the country, but we are #4 in Communication degrees earned by Hispanics, #6 in Fine Arts degrees earned, and rated the 17th best university overall for Hispanics. By maximizing our internal potential, we are outperforming other universities. They also highlight the college’s rise in prestige and academic excellence. The number of national titles, national awards, and frequent top 20 national rankings still catch some people by surprise; however, when we are at our best, we can compete with the best.
