Graduate Assistantships are available to qualified applicants. Graduate Instructional Assistants (G.I.A.) and Graduate Teaching Assistants (G.T.A.) are required to take a nine-hour course load (full-time) to qualify for financial assistance. Out of state students hired as a Graduate Assistant will have their tuition rate adjusted to in-state rates.

Criteria for Graduate Assistantship position:
Student must be accepted unconditionally to the MFA Communication Design program.
Student must be enrolled full time (9 hours=3 courses) during the fall and spring semesters.
Graduate Assistants work for the University 20 hours a week and are paid a monthly stipend.
