Dr. Teri Evans-Palmer, Associate Professor of Art Education, enjoys teaching art theory and practice courses at Texas State to prepare new teachers for the profession. Her work as a K-12 art educator, visual arts coordinator, director of public information, museum educator trainer, researcher and artist have placed her in schools and museums in Texas, Pennsylvania, Germany, Italy and Africa. Her published research investigates the internal capacities of teachers: sense of humor, disposition, emotional well-being, instructional self-efficacy, and engagement; and follows trends in design education. Teri facilitates professional development and continuing education for visual arts and museum educators. Education: B.S. in Art Education, Kutztown University; M.S.
