Internship Program
ARTC4310 Communication Design Practicum (0-6)
Although most interns work with either Austin or San Antonio firms while they are enrolled in other courses at Texas State, ComDes students have interned in cities such as Dallas, Houston, New York, Seattle and London.
To find out more about the internship program and what types of businesses will qualify for credit, attend one of the internship meetings held at the beginning of each fall and spring semester, contact the Internship Coordinator, Holly Shields or talk to your advisor.
The internship is open to all Communication Design majors. To gain credit for an internship, students must work in an approved design/advertising firm to gain professional experience.
