The Texas State University Student Chapter of the National Art Education Association is open to membership by students who intend to become art teachers. Dates and times of meetings are determined each semester and membership may be on a semester-by-semester basis.

• Activities include service projects as well as fund raising projects to send members to the TAEA conferences.
• Membership fee is $5 per semester.
• In addition to the business part of the meetings, there often is a short presentation or discussion of a topic related to art education.
